Behaviour changes
New features or bug fixes in 2025 R1 have led to changes in behaviour that may have an impact. We therefore recommend that you consult the list of behavioural changes below.
Charts
Axis titles for Column/Bar charts
In the case of a dimension and measures on the grouping axis, a combination of the measures and members of the dimension were displayed.
From now on, only the names of the measures and dimensions are displayed.
Saving in Excel (without styles)
Saving in Excel (without styles) now retains some of the styles.
Simple and cross tables (since patch 2025R1 P13)
When an alert format with a fill color is used, the alert’s fill color takes precedence over the default color of the total row.
Dashboard editor
Data entry
When saving a form, it is now checked that :
- the database for data entry is correctly configured;
- the connection is working properly;
- the table has been created from the form sent.
If this is not the case, an error message will appear when the form is saved.
This means that it is no longer possible to create a form in a development or test environment (without a database) and then restore it later in a production environment (with a database).
Ad-hoc analysis
Restricted-access dimensions are no longer displayed.
Studio
Calculated measurements
The return instruction is no longer mandatory in advanced measurements for a simple formula (one line).
Style manager
The digdash_2019_template theme can now be reset.
Configuration
Role management
New Admin > AddRole and Admin > ManageRole authorisations (ACLs) enable you to add a role and manage a role (the role to which the user is attached and in which they have write rights). Previously, the Admin > Manage users authorisation was sufficient.
Role identifier
The role identifier is assigned automatically and can no longer be edited.
Backup
Backup options are now displayed after clicking on the Download button.
Export (since patch 2025R1 P13)
CSV export no longer uses scientific notation (exponent) for large numbers. Large numbers are now displayed in full by default.
It is possible to revert to exponent display by adding the property PROP_VIEW_EXPONENT_EXPORT_CSV with the value true in system.xml.
